This really is a great little printer. It is exactly what I wanted, and after reading all the positive reviews, my mind was made up, especially in light of getting 6 months of free ink. The printer set up in less than 5 minutes right out of the box. I have it WIRED, not wireless. My PC is also HP, so I was printing right away. Great print quality! Here’s the rub — I was really enticed by the 6 months of free ink. I spent probably an hour online trying to set that up, but it wouldn’t work, so I had to contact an HP tech to help set it up. Spent an hour with the first tech who couldn’t figure it out, and was then transferred to a second tech. after another hour and a half, the problem was still not solved. It turns out you have to have both your printer and your PC on wifi in order to get the free ink. I don’t want to have my PC on wifi because wireless communications are more easily hacked. So I can’t get the free ink because I prefer to have my PC WIRED and SAFER. SUX. Five…

Customer service does not exist. In my opinion they act like the mafia I will NEVER buy anything with a HP label on it ever again. Never buy HP. I applied for the free ink deal it took over a month to get a small container of ink from them, I was out of ink for weeks and unable to print so I purchased HP ink from Amazon, got it in 2 days, but HP shut down both of my HP printers. HP in my opinion is a criminal origination. I will NEVER purchase anything with a HP label on it again.

I had no problem setting this printer up. That being said, I am a millennial. No offense to the older generation, but if you are not one who is privy to technology or its many advances, this printer will not be the easiest for you to set up… To make things easier for those that might struggle with setup, here they are in layman terms:
1. Take Printer out of the box.
2. Take off all wrapping.
3. Plug it in and turn it on.
4. Slide up the back printer paper tray.
5. The blue marker in the middle of the space on this this tray, needs to be slid over to the left, before you can add paper. You might have to pull it forward and up before you can slide.
6. Open the bottom panel, open the inner door, unwrap the ink and insert the cartridges as directed by the illustrated guide.
7. Get your smartphone, because this is how you are going to be setting this up. If you don’t have one, then you have to go to 123.hp.com and set it up that way, but it’s highly recommended to use the app on the phone.

The colour cartridge was faulty and the printer would not work until I bought one. HP is very hard to make contact with and when I gave a phone number someone called me back and tried to scam me into buying
a virus program . Once I got the printer to work I was very satisfied.

HP 2755e wireless printer can be connected to computer via cable. It works just fine on the network. Set up assistance was needed via HP since it was necessary to set up wireless and my system had firewalls which I could not disable. Clear printing. Scanning of document and then printing is a multiple step process. Scan. save as document then print separately. Can NOT scan and print directly. Can scan and then send to email but must set up email within the printer setup. Must leave printer on continuously so HP can verify need for more ink.

I bought a new MacBook Air and this printer which I thought would be easy to set up.
Initially I tried to set up on my computer. BIG MISTAKE. I could not connect the printer from my computer and after many failed attempts I called the HP help desk 1-888 number. It was noisy and the connection was bad so the advisor called me back on his cell phone. RED FLAG! He told me the printer was not compatible with my new MacBook Air operating system (Ventura 13.5) and transferred to an “Amazon rep” for a return and replacement product. When a few more red flags went up and the rep wanted my bank account information, I questioned the rep and he ended the call; it clearly was a scam. So beware.
Upon further research, I saw that they recommended you set up on a mobile device. I was dubious, but easily went through that process and it worked! Apparently you have to set up an HP account for the setup to work and I did sign up for the 6-month free ink trial. Will see how that works.
