I needed to get a new printer when my 10 year old Dell color laser printer stopped picking up the paper from the tray, but I don’t print enough to justify spending much money on one. I found this on Amazon for a very good price. The print quality is excellent, and I like the fact that it prints in duplex. The negatives are that it is very loud, at least compared to my old printer. I had a very frustrating time getting it setup to print and I still can’t figure out how to get it to print wirelessly. And it will not automatically print from the manual feeder if I put an envelope or other paper into it. It will only print from the cassette tray. I can get it to print from the manual feeder, but I have to go into the setting and change that setting to manual every time.

Works great! Pictures come out great! Was not hard to set up—and I am not tech savvy! Price was great for a color laser printer!

Reading the reviews, I was nervous and felt like this purchase was a gamble… a gamble that paid off though!! It was easy to install for me! I hooked it up to wifi via its screen, then printed from my phone. No calibrating or anything at this point. I printed some pictures, and though they don’t quite look like pro-level prints, they’re pretty great for plain paper prints done in 10 seconds!

Someone asked what the long, flat rectangle “extra” piece was for – the paper drawer has a blue button on the inside to extend for legal paper. The rectangle piece clips into the top of the extended paper drawer, acting as a paper protector as well as a ledge to feed photo paper/envelopes into the photo/envelope feeder. See photos.

I highly recommend this printer! I plan to use this largely for printing online sales shipping stuff – labels, small photos of the confirmed purchase, etc. this will fit my needs perfectly, and is a huge upgrade in speed and efficiency when compared to my old inkjet. I…

I had needed a budget color laser printer (no inkjet for me, we don’t print often enough so the ink in everything dries out and gets expensive) that would work with chrome books, PC, and apple mobile devices – this fit the bill. Took a little bit to set up but once going it’s been perfect. I wanted color for pretty basic stuff, text, not photo quality, but some of the photos we’ve printed have been much nicer than I thought it would be. (See image my child printed as a joke and taped to our fan.) This works perfect for the occasional school project need for my older child, printing the occasional work document, and craft projects for my toddler.

Toner is expensive but I haven’t had to replace the starter ones yet and we don’t print a whole lot, so I find toner ultimately is less expensive than replacing ink cartridges that dry out constantly.

The machine works as anyone would want it to for home use. Speed is adequate, size is a little larger than would’ve liked but it is a quality machine that has performed well.

This printer is a great deal for the price. It prints letters and such very crisp and clean. The color phots come out very good for a laserjet. Once you have learned a few things about the computers settings and get them fixed you will really like it.
problem I had was the printer not wanting to print from the default tray. The main cause for this is that the printer senses the type of paper you have inserted and if it is not the correct weight it immediately will change to the one sheet slot.
Just set the paper to plain letter 1 and it should solve the issue. Do not select a weight unless you know it for sure.
There is supposedly a way to set to the main tray as default but I still haven’t been able to get that to work.
But, as I said I do like the printers actual print quality so much I just ordered another. At $179 on the black friday sale it’s a steal.

I bought this printer to print flyers and it didn’t work well right out of the box! The printer was blotchy and with ink running on both sides. First it printed in just yellow. I performed ink calibration as recommended by customer service and then the page was entirely coated in blue and the colors were incorrect, runny and washed out. This is the worst printer I’ve ever used. I returned it and bought Brother HL-3270CDW and that is an impressive printer with clear instructions and the quality is better than Vistaprint. It even handles heavy cardstock well.

This thing works great and does double side printing. Also comes with full toner Cartridge not those useless starter one. Been printing for almost a month now its it just dropped to 80% on all color toners.
