   This is about the best Chromebook you can get at this price point. Very good quality, ease of use and portability with good performance and battery life. This is the one I bought to replace her HP which died unexpectedly after two years. I’ve used Acer Chromebooks for more than ten years with very good results.

   Just arrived tonight, I opened the box and it was secured by a bubble plastic glove. Plugged in usb charger and started the on screen activation which was so easy. Came with a paper that said because its renewed product that I need to download manual online, which is fine. I never used a chromebook of any sort but I am liking the interface and accessibility of this machine. My old computer was 12 years old and ok but this chromebook ACER is super fast. I am using it right now for this review. It was clean and no marks or scratches. The keyboard is ok easy typing. Lots of little perks with it. I believe you need a google account to use get one if you don’t have yet. I am grateful now I continue my work. Plus I connected a printer and mouse, and portable speaker. Everything is working very well. I am satisfied. Will update in a few months.

   Keys are too close for touch
   typing and hard to read in dim light.
   No other cons.
   Good value. Works fine.

   Just overall felt like less than I expected. I understand it was an inexpensive unit, but I couldn’t imagine someone paying full price for it. Anyways, it was “clunky” to use. The keyboard mouse click felt very poor. The interface was crap this was my first time with a google operating system being a Chromebook I think a lot of people use this for basic browsing but this was marketed to me to do more which upon some research seemed like people could download different things for different tasks but it was having me jump through some hoops so I didnt even bother with the first hoop and put it back in the box.

   This Acer computer Was listed as an Acer 2024 laptop with comfy view. The first thing I saw upon opening the box was a ticket listing the phone number email address for Acer. I called the number for customer support got an answer. It was explained that the product had been sold to Amazon. Therefore, Acer no longer had any support for it. Honestly I thought I was buying a 2024 computer when in fact, it was a 2022 and claim to be refurbished but look brand new. I didn’t take it out of the package just a simple fact that Acer would not help with set up or anything at all because it no longer was their product, honestly I almost never leave a bad review or any review for that matter so I feel a little bad that I am writing this but I was confused on the website that it was refurbished , As it said, renewed or new. Since it was listed on the heading of the ad as an Acer, 2024 I assumed it was brand new but I was wrong. I don’t think the computer was defective. I don’t know I didn’t try…

   I bought this to replace a Windows 7 laptop. Although it is used, it looks new. The setup was easy and it performs great for my purposes. Plus it is lighter than my old laptop.
